The New Deal - Toronto, Canada
GONE GONE GONE
The New Deal's sophomore studio effort is a dynamic and nuanced record that, for the first time, features the band weaving powerful vocals into the trio's sound through some very special guests.
The album's first single "Don't Blame Yourself" features a vocal appearance by FEIST. Her exceptional work with Broken Social Scene adds a mysterious, melancholy counterpoint to the New Deal's flowing instrumentation and arrangement.
MARTINA SORBARA appears courtesy of Nettwerk Records and delivers a moving vocal on the drum+bass-centric "A Little While". Martina's rich voice also floats through the album's closing track "Senza Te".
The New Deal combine their respect for a wide spectrum of songs and sounds with their vast touring experience across North America to deliver a balanced and textured record. While the band's ever-growing fanbase continues to lead to sell-out shows throughout their heavy touring schedule, GONE GONE GONE presents a new dimension to the ever-evolving sound of this highly regarded band.
