Formed in the spring of 2002, The Brew has always focused on the art of the song. "From the very beginning we vowed to never write a filler tune for an album. Every song had to be an entity of its own, with a message and a purpose." says David Drouin, one of the four young (early 20s) musicians that make up this talented and explosive group. Among more than 500 shows under their belt to date, the band lists one of the most memorable as a recent gig where they got to share the stage with one of their musical heroes, three-time Grammy winner Bruce Hornsby. After receiving positive feedback from Bruce, The Brew was invited to open his show at The 2006 Lowell Summer Music Series.
