Words seem hollow when compared to the dynamic and experimental nature of the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. The three core members of JFJO see themselves as a conduit to the higher being. In those magic moments when they are locked into improvisation they become an extension of something greater. JFJO pulls influences from all genres of music, from legendary jazz saxophonist John Coltrane, experimental music pioneer Sun Ra to free thinking hip-hopster KRS-ONE, it doesn't matter! JFJO stands on that thin line between improvisational jazz and body shakin' groove.
