wspacldvdthWidespread Panic - Live from Austin, TX DVD - If you're among the legions of Widespread Panic fans, you already know that the band is legendary for never playing the same show twice. What makes this performance that much more special is the inspiring presence of founding member Michael Houser, who died of pancreatic cancer less than two years later. As much as anything, this is a celebration of Houser's life and the sheer joy he brought to a band that became one of the biggest draws on the international concert circuit and created a vibe that makes the Panic experience unique in the pop rock world. One look at this show and it quickly becomes obvious that there was something strange going on in the house that night. The audience threatens to steal the show during this Halloween party, recorded October 31, 2000! $16.98

Live at Tree Sound Studios features special guests Greg Hollowell and Derrick Johnson of Asheville Horns and Silas Durocher on guitar. The DVD is a combination of live performances captured in the same session and footage from their 2008 touring adventures. The DVD was produced by TreeV Productions and includes road footage from LRDP's own Sam Katz (tour manager), music from DJ Kurfu, and graphics from Lear Bunda (Cartoon Network). $16.00

odeaththO'Death - Broken Hymns, Limbs and Skin CD - Influences: old songs, gospel, Appalachian mountain music, sweet melodies, punk energy, whiskey, Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. "This New York band draws from the starkness and spiritual purity of Appalachian folk, the noisemongering of punk and the rowdy theatricality of Tom Waits. With quiet pluckings of banjo and angry, anarchic hollers, its songs jumble the sacred and profane." - NY Times. $11.99
