Wow – here it is a few short weeks until Nelson Ledges Quarry Park 4th of July Weekend featuring the rebirth of RHYTHM FEST! You might ask, “What about Grateful Fest?” Don’t worry, this year these are two separate events. Grateful Fest is going to be on Labor Day weekend this year, with all the usual fixins’!

NedFest is a 3-day outdoor music festival with camping located on the shores of Barker Reservoir in the mountains of Nederland, Colorado.

It’s almost time for festival season here in North East Ohio’s very own Nelson Ledges Quarry Park! This is the 13th season under the stewardship of Evan Kelly and it may be the best ever!

Nederland Music & Arts Festival 2007 takes place Friday, August 24th through Sunday, August 26th in the Mountains of Nederland, Colorado on the shores of Barker Reservoir 17 miles west of (3,000 ft above and only 25 minutes from) Boulder.

So, I like axe-welders…here’s one who can truly be called The Man! Well, there’s a reason he was nicknamed Eu De Mon by his late friend, Doug Greene. These nine tracks are the first studio excursions of the Steve Kimock Band. Hard to believe it’s been five and a half years for this lineup and nary a studio track: Kimock on guitar, steel guitar, mandolin, ukulele, Rodney Holmes on drums, Alphonso Johnson on bass, Mitch Stein on guitar and Jim Kost on keys. Holmes also serves as Kimock’s co-producer, occasional writing partner and persistent sonic foil on track after track where tone and colors are applied with equal feel towards improvisational eudemonica.
