I work on festivals and sometimes consult and recommend talent. I am also the founder of Gigslist.org to help folks and friends in the industry. If you are serious about finding a gig or selling your music to film and TV, go to Gigslist.org register a free account and post your stuff. Nobody is going to do it for you unless you pay them and let's face it, musicians are too unemployed or too cheap to pay. So pull your fingers off the pipe or bong or whatever and walk them over the computer keys and give yourself a fighting chance of making some money from the music that you love so much. If you want direct contacts for current film and TV projects seeking music then upgrade your account. Playing tiny venues or side stages at festivals won't get you famous, but getting your music on film or TV can. Ok so go to http://www.gigslist.org now and get it over with...

This is truly one of the best music gifts that could have been created for artists. Never before would you have thought it possible to get your music in front of the big guys so easily, but anything is pretty much possible these days.
