Internet Radio Ear Candy For The Mind will turn 6 this month!

Hello Fellow Music Lovers,
Next month I will be celebrating six years of streaming my internet radio station, Ear Candy For The Mind. In that time I have been able to meet a lot of you that share the same goal as me... spread the knowledge of great music and the musicians that make it. My first broadcast was on February, 25, 2004. I think I had one person stumble onto my station and listened for 15 minutes. I was ecstatic, I had reached my goal. I was able to share my music... the music that I hold so dear to someone other than my friends sitting in my tune room. Since that day I have played over 23,000 different songs by over 950 bands/musicians. I have had 116,228 streams launched for a total of 141455 listening hours. I know there are stations that get these numbers everyday of the week but are they playing what they want to play or are the playing what some corporate sponsor has told them to play... over and and over and over. Can they say they have listeners in 51 different countries and 100's of US cities? Maybe.. but probably not. Can they say they have the number one jam band station on Live365.com? NO.. because I have had that honor for over two years and counting.
Next month I am planning on giving away stuff to my loyal listeners so if anyone would like to send me cds, posters, shirts etc to give away I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you or your band would like to record a radio promo congratulating the station on our milestone I would greatly appreciate it. You can send them as a wav., mp3 or aiff format.
