What are you listening too?

I've been grooving on several bands that are obscure, but certainly worth checking out:

The Secret Chiefs 3: http://www.myspace.com/secretchiefs3 I was able to catch them at a local venue a few months back and was very impressed with their employment of Eastern instrumentation.

Soul of the River: http://www.myspace.com/souloftheriver A really solid, "traditional" type jamband. A very nice way to relax and get in the flow. They're one of my new favs, for sure.

The Transpersonals: http://www.myspace.com/thetranspersonals Psychedelic, Psychedelic, Psychedelic!! They're a group out of Bristol, UK. I love their song, "You Gotta Horus." Their sound is for those of us who like the old traditional English psychedelia such as the original Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, early Strawbs and so forth.

Music that looks Death in the eye. One of the best Alt. Country sounds I've heard in a while. ...Out of British Columbia.

Lefty Williams:http://www.myspace.com/lefty_music One of the more tasteful guitar players I've seen/heard in a while ...and one of the nicer ones who has taken the trouble to correspond with me.
