Athens’ music reputation has long been legendary. The Georgia Satellites, Matthew Sweet, Widespread Panic, Pylon, REM and the B-52s all have their roots there. The Southern music landscape has flourished and grown around Athens, Georgia and The Georgia Theatre has been an integral part of the music landscape for many years. Not only has this historical building been an anchor building for downtown Athens, but it has also been the foundation for many of the finest bands the music industry has seen.

RENOVATIONS will be completed on July 6 and we will be Enlarging the Stage & Bar.

We will be doing our GRAND REOPENING Starting after Renovations of Enlarging the stage & Bar. I currently have Saturday July 16th available if interested??
