The Congressional Blues Festival will take place on July 27 at the National Building Museum in DC. The festival is an effort to honor and showcase American Roots music and help those who helped create this great art form.

Previous performers include Taj Mahal, Derek Trucks, Robert Randolph, Robert Cray, Bobby Parker, Sol & Funk Root, Music Maker Revue, Memphis Gold and more!

Here are a few details about some of this year's performers.

Cayce, SC's Congaree Bluegrass Festival will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 11am to 7pm at Granby Gardens Park in Cayce, SC. The Steep Canyon Rangers are performing. For more information visit www.congareebluegrassfestival.com.

Hey there, fellow music lovers!

Who all's going to All Good? The lineup (http://www.allgoodfestival.com/artists.cfm) looks as good as it ever has, and this year (provided me and my piggy bank get along) I'll finally be going!

I've never seen Phil Lesh and Furthr live before, only ever heard them on discs, so I'm pretty excited for that, but it's looking like the late-night jams couldn't possibly disappoint either.

Either way, I'm just interested to see who all might be going and who you're excited to see! Check it out, if you haven't already :)
