Last weekend's Getdown festival was a truly epic event. I travelled out from Omaha,NE to attend with a good friend of mine from Holly Springs, NC. The music was great. Two sets by both the Mantras and Big Something were awesome. Larry Keel is also awesome to see. That dude can play a mean guitar. At the camping area we got to meet a really cool couple and there 1 year old son Stewart. I think its great to see such young kids at an event like this. I would highly recommend this festival.

Steal The Prize is a groove-driven rock'n'roll group based out of Lynchburg, Virginia. With the original line up remaining solid since 2006, Steal The Prize have spent years defining their sound, vigorously performing live, and characterizing a unique regional music community. Working along side the fans, and other like-minded songwriters, the community strives to spread awareness to promote a united vision of originality in both music and culture.
