Venue Affiliate Program
1. All Venue affiliates will be promoted on the HGMN website. Website information may include links, directions and general contact info that the venue provides.
2. As a HGMN Venue Affiliate, venues will also increase their visibility to bands from other regions trying to book a tour.
3.Venues are licensed and encouraged to use the official HGMN Venue logo in their advertising.
4. Venues will also qualify for discounted rates on HGMN product and other assistance in creating a retail outlet within the venue. Venues get 30% discount on any catalog or web ads.
5. All press releases will be considered to be added to the homepage of our web site. All newsletters & press releases will be forwarded nationally to our entire mail list - Bands, Venues, Reps, Agents, Promoters and members. Newsletters, promo adds, etc. can be sent directly to me - robie@homegrownmusic.net
6. A Venue Calendar update is posted each month through our mail list as a press release. This calendar lists all venue affiliates, links and our music picks for each venue. Please try to keep updated show listings on your website.
7. In most markets we do have street teams available to help the venue promote shows. We also encourage each venue to stock our catalogs wherever a patron would most likely see them and pick them up. This is a great way to help promote all of the artists that we work with and encourage people to come see them whenever they perform at your venue.
8. We do ask that all venue affiliates be open to a HGMN event at least once per year. If your venue is selected HGMN will sponsor, promote and make all the necessary arrangements to help make it beneficial for everyone involved..
One of our goals is to be more present on the live music scene. I expect that as this program continues to grow, we will all see the benefits. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
**There is no monthly or annual membership fee to become a HGMN venue affiliate. It's all FREE!. All you need to do is be approved.
