Hot Day at the Zoo

Hot Day at the Zoo, a fiercely progressive 4-piece string band grown in Lowell, Ma are spreading their eclectic roots up and down the eastern seaboard and as far west as Colorado. Celebrating their 5th year together as a band in January '08, David Cleaves (mandolin, vocals), Jon Cumming (banjo, dobro, vocals,), Michael Dion (guitar, harmonica, vocals,) and Jed Rosen (upright bass, vocals) are making final preparations to their sophomore EP, Long Way Home.

Josh Phillips Folk Festival

Singer, guitarist, and percussionist of Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band Josh Phillips has recently left the Booty Band in pursuit of his new project, Josh Phillips Folk Festival.

Jango Monkey

Jango Monkey plays original indie rock with emphasis on songcraft, uniquely blending classic rock, folk, prog, & improvisation. Quirky lyrics, strong melodies, & captivating instrumental interplay draw the listener in.

Deep Blue Sun

Deep Blue Sun is more than a 'jam band', it's the culmination of ten years and a thousand throw-down shows that are more like parties than performances. Formed by songwriters John Marsh and Katie Moore from Apple Peru, DBS is deeply rooted in the Georgia jam rock scene.

Quactus

Taking its cue from the classic jam bands, including the Grateful Dead, Phish, and the Allman Brothers, Quactus, since forming in 2005, has developed a diverse style that blends various genres of music. Harmonious vocals set atop changing textures and moods, mixed with subtle meter changes, intricate melodies, and a cohesive improvisational style backed by a solid rhythm section comprise the core of the Quactus sound.

Stanley Maxwell

Connecticut-based four-piece Stanley Maxwell plays original music that blends (among many other influences) jazz, funk and rock with tight arrangements and intricate group improvisation.

Charlie Wheeler Band

Fate works in strange ways. Sometimes, when the stars line up just right, and luck is in one's favor, amazing things can happen. This might be the best way to describe the conception of Western Pennsylvania's Charlie Wheeler Band.

Rainmaker

Rainmaker is a 4-piece band from the San Francisco Bay Area. They blend vintage and modern sounds and draw upon Roots Music, Indie Rock, Funk, and Soul.

The Mantras

The Mantras are a five piece ensemble out of Greensboro, N.C. with dueling guitars, full band vocals, and a driving rhythm section

Sci-Fi

Sci Fi finds their roots in jazz, fusion, funk, reggae and house music.
