Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - A Bridge Of Spies CD
An occasional quarter who performed their second ever gig at the original Woodstock Music Festival in 1969, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young have released just three studio albums together across more than fifty years, yet remain an iconic collective made up of course of four highly respected musicians. More often touring together and playing one-off gigs than recording, CSNY made one such appearance at the second Bridge School Benefit Concert, organised by Neil Young, and his late wife Pegi. Taking place at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland, CA, on 4th December 1988, the festival featured sets from Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jerry Garcia, Tracey Chapman, Billy Idol and Nils Lofgren, as well as a stunning set by CSNY and of course a solo performance from Young. With the entire occasion recorded for live FM Broadcast, this CD features the entire sets by David Crosby Stills Nash and Young plus Neil's solo-set, plus a couple of bonus cuts too, featuring Neil Young performing with other artists featured during this legendary benefit show.
