Om-Audio's INEARPEACE headphones

Upgrade your listening experience with these new in-ear headphones.

If you're like me you love your iPod, iPhone or other electronic device - but the earbuds they provide with those products are uncomfortable and leave a lot to be desired audio-wise. Om-Audio's new INEARPEACE dual-driver headphones solves those issues.  Regular speakers almost always have at least a two drivers (woofer and tweeter) but most earphones only have one. As a result their frequency response often suffers.  INEARPEACE has a dual driver design that does a great job of providing balanced audio playback. There's plenty of bass, but not too much like with many earphones. The mids & highs are are crisp and clear.  These also respond really well to EQ adjustments.  When listening to HQ .wav files of one of my favorite albums through my iPhone - I found "Flat" was my favorite EQ position. That should hint there that the audio on these are dialed in, no frequency boosts needed. These have become my preferred earphones when I want to hear every detail of a special recording.

Here's a few key features:

  • Founded by former employees at Dolby and Gracenote
  • Features dual driver technology, including at 10mm coiled bass driver and balanced armature driver (i.e. smooth lows and clear highs)
  • Features a special pressure-relief system for long-term listening
  • Tangle-free cable

The sturdy flat cables contain a inline mic/controller that works with Apple devices. Om-Audio also includes a nice pocket-sized hard shell carrying case stocked with extra tips (3 sizes) and a cord clip.

Some of our musician friends like, moe. and ALO have also given INEARPEACE their stamp of approval.  Check out this video of Dan Lebowitz of ALO for INEARPEACE.
