Sun King draws its influences from reggae, afro pop and funk, to soul and classic rock. Produced in Baltimore, MD, with Chris Bentley (acclaimed for his work with The Bridge), John Mancini Band's follow-up to their 2009 debut, JMB, will please lovers of classic songwriting and extended instrumental grooves. Just over 50 minutes in length, Sun King has tight hooks, lush arrangements and surprising lyrics throughout.
